What we collect when you book an appointment or contact the shop, why we collect it, and who else sees it.

Last updated: 3 September 2026

Who we are

BMCO Motors is an independent auto repair shop at 18018 Strack Dr, Spring, TX 77379. You can reach us at (346) 663-8020 or info@bmcomotors.com. This policy covers bmcomotors.com and the appointment request form on it.

What we collect

Only what you type into the appointment form, and basic anonymous data about how the site is used.

  • Your name and phone number — so we can call or text you back about your appointment.
  • Your email address — optional. We ask for it as a backup in case the phone number has a typo.
  • Your vehicle — year, make and model, so we can check parts before you arrive.
  • What you need and when — the service you selected, the day and time you asked for, and anything you wrote in the notes.
  • Anonymous usage data — page views and which buttons get tapped. No names, no accounts, no cross-site tracking.

Text messages. We text customers only about vehicles they have brought us for service. Message frequency varies and depends on the work being carried out — typically a few messages per repair visit. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile numbers and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Reply STOP to any message to stop, or HELP for help. Full SMS terms.

We do not ask for and do not want your payment card details, driver’s license, or Social Security number through this website. The booking form does ask for your VIN, but only as an optional field — it saves us looking your vehicle up by hand, and you can leave it blank.

Why we collect it

To contact you about the appointment you asked for, to prepare for your visit, and to keep a service record for your vehicle. That is all. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Calls and texts

Texting is opt-in, and it's optional. The booking form has a separate “text me” box, unticked by default. You can book without ticking it. If you leave it unticked we'll call or email you instead. Ticking it means BMCO Motors may text the number you gave us about your appointment and your vehicle's repair. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan.

These are service messages about work you asked for — not marketing. We won't add you to a promotional list. To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message from us, or just tell us on the phone. To stop calls, ask and we'll note it on your record.

The bilingual notes box

If you switch on bilingual intake, what you type is sent to an outside translation service (MyMemory, operated by Translated s.r.l.) so it can be translated between English and Spanish. The translation is machine-generated and may be imperfect — please read it before you send.

If you'd rather nothing left our site, leave the bilingual toggle off and write in whichever language you prefer. We read both.

Who else sees your information

ServiceWhat it handles
VercelHosts this website and delivers the pages to your browser.
ResendDelivers your appointment request to the shop's email inbox.
Scarab OSThe shop management system BMCO Motors keeps its records in. Your appointment and inspection records are stored there.
Google MapsDraws the map on our Visit Us section. Google may set cookies when that map loads.
Google FontsSupplies the typefaces used on the site.
MyMemoryTranslates the bilingual notes box — only if you switch it on.

We may also share information where the law requires it, or where it's necessary to complete a repair — for example giving a parts supplier your vehicle's year, make and model. We never give a supplier your contact details for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Appointment requests that don't turn into a visit are kept for about 12 months, then deleted. If you become a customer, we keep your service history for as long as Texas record-keeping rules require and for as long as it's useful to you — a documented repair history is worth having when you sell the vehicle.

Your choices

  • See what we have. Ask and we'll tell you what's on your record.
  • Correct it. If something is wrong, we'll fix it.
  • Delete it. Ask us to remove your information and we will, unless we're required to keep a repair record.
  • Stop the messages. Reply STOP to a text, or tell us.

Call (346) 663-8020 or email info@bmcomotors.com and ask. No form to fill in.

Children

This site isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
