Diesel repair in Spring, TX, done properly.
Cummins is what our master technician came up on and knows best. Duramax and Power Stroke come through here too. Emissions systems, fuel systems, heavy steering and full service intervals — the work plenty of shops take in and then find a reason not to do.
Cummins, Duramax, Power Stroke
Carlos came up on Cummins and it is his home ground. Duramax and Power Stroke are regular work here as well. If you are not sure what you have, call and describe the truck — we will tell you straight whether it is something we take on.
Cummins
Our technician's home ground. Fuel systems, injectors, emissions work and the heavy service intervals, on pickups and on the medium-duty trucks that run them.
Duramax
Diagnosis, emissions systems, injectors and fuel delivery, plus the routine intervals that keep one out of the shop. Regular work here.
Power Stroke
Emissions and fuel work, hard-start and cold-start diagnosis, and full maintenance intervals. Also regular work here.
If your truck is doing one of these
You do not need to know the cause to book. Describe what it is doing and we will find it — that is what the diagnostic hour is for, and it comes off the bill if you have us do the work.
Regen won't complete
The truck keeps trying to regenerate and never finishes, or drops into limp mode part-way through. Usually the DPF, a sensor, or something upstream making the engine work harder than it should.
DEF or emissions faults
DEF quality warnings, urea injection faults, NOx sensor codes, countdown-to-derate messages. Diagnosed properly and repaired — not deleted, and not ignored. How we handle emissions work.
Hard start when cold
Long crank, rough first minute, white smoke on a cold morning. Fuel delivery, glow or preheat, injector return — narrowed down by testing rather than by replacing parts.
Limp mode & derate
Power cut, speed limited, a countdown on the dash. We read the whole fault history rather than clearing the one code that is showing.
Injectors & fuel systems
Injector testing and replacement, lift pumps, filter housings, water-in-fuel faults, and fuel contamination after a bad tank.
Heavy steering & front end
King pins, hydro boosters, steering boxes and the front-end wear that shows up on a truck carrying weight all day.
What you get before we touch anything
Same as every job here: we inspect it, photograph what we find, put an estimate in your hands, and wait for you to say yes. On a diesel that matters more, because the parts are expensive enough that nobody should be guessing.
Diagnosis you can read
A full code pull and live data, cross-checked against what the truck is actually doing — then explained in plain language. $100, and it comes off the bill if we do the repair.
Published rates
$180/hr for heavy duty and any diesel. Cars and light trucks (up to ½ ton) are $125, trucks (¾ ton and up) $150. Most shops make you call to find out what an hour costs; ours are on the site.
Warranty in writing
Parts carry their manufacturer warranty, usually 6–12 months. Our workmanship is 30 days — if we got it wrong, we put it right at no charge. If a warranty part fails, labor is charged again; we would rather say that up front than at the counter.
Fleet work
Scheduled maintenance programs for working trucks, with one point of contact and records kept against each vehicle. Call and we will work out intervals around how the trucks actually run.
