Power Stroke repair in Spring, TX, for the 6.0, 6.4 and 6.7.
F-250, F-350 and F-450. Each generation fails in its own way, and we test for the known pattern before anything comes apart — the oil cooler on a 6.0, fuel dilution on a 6.4, the high-pressure pump on a 6.7.
If your Power Stroke is doing one of these
You do not need to know the cause to book. Describe what the truck is doing and we will find it — that is what the diagnostic hour is for, and it comes off the bill if you have us do the work.
6.0: coolant loss, white smoke, temperatures that split under load
The oil cooler restricts first and takes the EGR cooler with it. We measure the gap between oil and coolant temperature under load before replacing either.
6.0: coolant pushed into the degas bottle
Tested for combustion gases before anything comes apart. If it is the head gaskets, you will know that from a reading, not from a guess.
6.0: no start or rough running
On the 6.0 this traces back to high-pressure oil supply or the injector driver module more often than to the injectors. Both are tested before parts are ordered.
6.4: oil level rising, frequent regens, a radiator leak
The 6.4 regenerates often and dilutes its oil doing it. Rising oil, regen faults and cooling leaks are the pattern, and we check all three together.
6.7: died and won't restart, turbo faults, DEF codes
A high-pressure pump failure can contaminate the whole fuel system, so it is inspected for debris before a pump is replaced. Turbo and DEF or NOx sensor faults are checked in that order. See our emissions page.
Service intervals, done together
Oil, both fuel filters, air and cabin filters, coolant, and the aftertreatment checks in one visit, recorded against the truck.
What you get before we touch anything
Same as every job here: we inspect it, photograph what we find, put an estimate in your hands, and wait for you to say yes. On a diesel that matters more, because the parts are expensive enough that nobody should be guessing.
Diagnosis you can read
A full code pull and live data, cross-checked against what the truck is actually doing — then explained in plain language. $100, and it comes off the bill if we do the repair.
Published rates
$180/hr for heavy duty and any diesel. Cars and light trucks (up to ½ ton) are $125, trucks (¾ ton and up) $150. Most shops make you call to find out what an hour costs; ours are on the site.
Warranty in writing
Parts carry their manufacturer warranty, usually 6–12 months. Our workmanship is 30 days — if we got it wrong, we put it right at no charge. If a warranty part fails, labor is charged again; we would rather say that up front than at the counter.
Fleet work
Scheduled maintenance programs for working trucks, with one point of contact and records kept against each vehicle. Call and we will work out intervals around how the trucks actually run.
